1FAIR NAVIGATOR  G Cheyne  (V/TT)

Showed great early speed to spear forward and lead easily along the grandstand side. Kicked well clear after the furlong and cruised to the line.

2PEPPERMINT  B Prebble

Settled in last position some distance from the bulk of the field. Commenced to tack on after the 800m. Closed off strongly whilst weaving a passage through after the 200m towards the outside rail. (See incident report.)

3MY MELODY  M L Yeung  (B/XB/TT)

Chassed the on speed runners without cover when positioned closer to the middle of the course. Was nabbed close to the finish for second.

4FASTALOT  Z Purton  (TT1)

Raced near the grandstand side in second position, no cover. Peaked on its effort about 100m.

5RUMBA KING  D Whyte

Raced closest to the inside traveling midfield. Closed off well despite wanting to lay out over the final 400m.

6WASABISABI  T H So  (H-/B2)

Raced about 3-4 off the outside fence handy to the leaders. Never really quickened when asked for an effort and steadied over the final stages to avoid heels.

7PASSIONATE  H W Lai

Positioned along the outside rail midfield. Battled away one paced in the final stages.

8SHAREMA FEELING  W C Marwing  (H1)

Worked home evenly after racing in a midfield position with cover.

9GENERAL DANROAD  O Doleuze

Camped on the back of the speed about 3-4 off the grandstand fence. commenced to tire inside the final 100m.

10FLYING KEEPER  C Y Ho  (P1)

Raced behind midfield, 2-3 off the outside rail. Struggled over the final 200m.

11TREASURE GLITTER  C W Wong

Positioned worse than midfield 3-4 away from the outside fence. Failed to show any dash when placed under pressure from the 300m.

12CHINA WIN  K H Yu  (B)

Settled near the tail of the field towards the centre of the course. Struggled to keep in touch throughout.

13SUPER THUNDER  Y T Cheng

Settled with the backmakers nearer to the grandstand side. Switched inwards closer to the centre of the track passing the 400m, did nothing thereafter.
