Showed good pace to lead, skipped away early straight opening up a sizeable lead, eased late and had his winning margin reduced to a neck. (Jockey reprimanded for failing to ride out to the line.)

Away in line, given a waiting ride near the rear, closed off strongly final 300M and was rapidly making ground on the eventual winner who had been eased final stages.
3HAPPY FEELING  B Thompson  (CP-/B2/TT)

From draw 1 bustled along early to hold a midfield spot along the fence, kept on steadily final 300M for a non-threatening 3rd.
4TACTICAL COMMAND  A Badel  (B)

From wide draw dropped back to race in last, had the task ahead at 400M with 9Ls to make up, finished off well to take 4th.
5EASY SNIP  C L Chau  (B)

Jumped on terms, maintained a midfield spot, 6Ls to make up 400M, held up 300M-250M before closing off the race moderately. (Jockey reported post race his horse had its tongue over the bit.)

Away quickly, tracked leaders, 4th at 400M, briefly went 2nd mid-straight but peaked on its run 150M.

Slow to begin, settled near last 8Ls off pace, stayed on without threatening over final 300M.

Began well, always stayed in touch behind leading trio, couldn't pick up pace when asked early straight, soon out of contention.

Had to make early use from a wide draw to obtain a forward position outside leader, no extra nearing 200M, weakened away. (Jockey: may be better suited being ridden more conservatively in early stages.)

Away well enough, dropped back to a midfield spot along the 3-path, couldn't go on passing 300M. No impression on leaders.

From wide draw taken across behind rivals, reserved behind midfield, failed to finish off under top weight. (Bled.)

Pressed forward to be racing just off leader, struggled to keep up nearing 400M, soon beaten on straightening. (Lame next day.)
