Had superior early speed to cross the field from gate 11 to lead. Momentarily joined in lead near 750m before again moving a few lengths clear passing 600m. Was over 2L clear on straightening, dug deep in late stages to win.
2HIGH RISE SOLDIER  C Y Ho  (B)

Raced in a bunch behind easy leader at first bend before having a nice run in third on rail in the middle stages. Continued second and 2.5L from lead entering last section, closed well late but was unable to get to leader.
3GREAT ACHIEVER  C L Chau

Raced keenly early when maintaining position in midfield along rail. Was 4.5L from lead entering last section, stayed nearer the inside on straightening before making good late ground to be beaten under a length into third.
4TALENTS SUPREMO  H Bowman  (TT)

Jumped only fairly & then was shifted back from wide gate to race rearward. Continued to race three wide line with cover around bend, was the widest runner on straightening before making good late ground down the outside.
5HARMONY N HOME  M F Poon

Jumped awkwardly & crowded and consequently raced last early. Improved along the rail after first bend to race worse than midfield. Was over 6L from the lead entering last section before making late ground to midfield.
6MR GOOD VIBES  K De Melo

Crowded & checked shortly after start & raced rearward throughout. Was relegated to last approaching the final corner, stayed nearer the rail on straightening before making late ground to finish in a bunch in midfield.
7VALHALLA  A Badel  (XB/TT)

Raced worse than midfield away from the rail. Raced keenly & got head up near 600m when being steadied between rivals. Was third last & over 7L behind on straightening before making some late headway to finish midfield.
8COUNTRY DANCER  B Avdulla  (P1)

Was steadied from widest gate & taken back to last. Continued rearward when 7.5L from the lead entering final section, shifted inwards for clear running passing the 300m before finishing o to finish in a bunch in midfield.

Raced in a bunch behind easy leader early before improving position to momentarily share lead near 750m but then dropping a few lengths behind. Was around 3L from lead on straightening, weakened slightly when over-run late.
10SPEEDY CHARIOT  K Teetan  (SR/TT1)

Raced in a bunch vying for second position at first bend before being crossed & getting 1,1 position from 800m. Was ridden along from 450m, 4L from lead entering last section before being over-run, weakening to third last.
11SEA SAPPHIRE  A Atzeni  (CP)

Raced in midfield between runners throughout. Continued in midfield and 5.5L from the lead entering final section, had clear running on straightening but did little in the straight & finished second last.
12WOOD ON FIRE  K C Leung  (H/TT)

Was trapped racing three wide without cover in midfield throughout. Continued wide around bend, was 5L from lead entering last section, was beaten early in the straight & tired out to finish last after a tough trip.
