Had perfect run on leaders back throughout. Stayed inside the leader on straightening, dashed through to take lead passing 150m mark before finishing well to win by over 1L.

Used advantage of low draw to push forward to lead. Continued to hold narrow lead before being joined by the winner who came up the side at the 150m mark before narrowly holding second on line.

Shifted across behind runners after the start to race third last along rail. Entered last section over 5L from lead, stayed close to the rail in straight before closing strongly in concluding stages to narrowly miss second.

Obtained good position 1,1 after the first bend. Entered last section just over 2L behind before finishing off steadily to be beaten about the same margin on line.

Raced three wide with cover in midfield throughout. Entered last section 5L from the lead before making up a few lengths when closing off down the outside to be beaten 3L.

Raced outside the leader throughout. Came under pressure early in straight before peaking at 175m & weakening late. (See report).

Ridden forward to improve approaching the first bend before being caught 3 deep without cover in third thereafter. Only a length from lead on straightening before peaking 125m & weakening late. (Rider questioned-see report).

Steadied from the widest barrier after the start & got back to race second last. Eased wider to improve entering last section when 6.5L from lead before making up a few late lengths out wide. Too far back to challenge.

Began fairly, shifted outwards at first turn when improving along rail to midfield. Raced keenly & hung outwards in middle stages checking at 800m. Continued to hang outwards around bend & in straight & wasn't tested late.

Shifted behind runners when outpaced at start & raced clear last. Continued at rear, 7L behind entering last section before making up length or two in straight but never challenging after getting too far back. Needs further.

Began awkwardly, made first turn very awkwardly & consequently racing 4 wide before racing 3 wide with cover in midfield from 800m. Began losing position approaching 400m mark before weakening in straight. Well beaten.

Raced in midfield between runners throughout. Hard ridden entering last section when just under 5L from the lead before weakening out poorly in straight to last. (Blood in trachea post-race).
