Strode forward from gate 14 before slotting into 1,1 position after 400m. Moved up to take narrow lead at 350m before digging in strongly last furlong to win.
2CIRCUIT NUMBER ONE  K Teetan  (H/TT)

Began well before steadying and shifting across to midfield away from rail. Shifted into clear running after straightening, made good ground to move to second passing the 300m before finishing well to hold second.
3SPEED FORCE  C L Chau  (XB)

Improved after start to race on leaders back. Held up in early part of straight, improved to third soon after 300m mark before finishing well to hold that position on line.
4EPTIWINS  Z Purton  (B)

Not bustled, drifted back to worse than midfield before shifting down to rail passing 1300m. Moved away from rail nearing the 600m, before improving between runners after straightening & closing to 4th inside last furlong.
5NATURAL STORM  C Y Ho  (B)

Bumped at start then failed to muster speed consequently racing second last. Moved wider & improved to midfield nearing the 900m. Moved the second widest on cornering before passing a few in dash to line.
6CROWN AVENUE  T H So  (B-)

Failed to improve after start & consequently settled in midfield. Drifted further back middle stages before being awkwardly placed & shuffled back to last entering last section. Passed a few in dash home but never likely.
7INDIGENOUS STAR  M F Poon  (TT)

Shifted across behind runners after start to settle at tail. Continued at the back on cornering, stayed close to the inside on straightening before passing a few to midfield but never threatening, beaten 5L.
8DRAGON COMMANDER  K C Leung  (CP)

Drifted back after start before shifting down to rail after first furlong before improving to midfield. Continued in midfield position 3.5L from lead passing 800m. Did little in the straight & was beaten.
9RULE THEE  N Callan  (B)

Raced worse than midfield before improving position in middle stages when racing three wide with cover. Moved 4 wide on cornering, entered last section only 2.5 lengths from lead before peaking & weakening out last 250m.

10POLYMER LUCK  H N Wong  (B)

Showed good speed after start to hold initial lead before racing outside leader in middle stages. Regained lead before near 600m before being joined & headed by winner near the 350m. Weakened out sharply in final 300m.
11LUCKY VICTOR  H W Lai  (TT)

Steadied after start & taken back to third last after start. Relegated to second last near the 1300m. Continued at back before moving the widest runner on cornering. Failed to improve in straight and was beaten nearly 10L.
12KA YING BRILLIANCE  M L Yeung  (H/P/XB)

Strode forward, raced prominently but left three wide without cover, outside leading pair. Came under hard riding & commenced to yield ground before cornering before tailing out in straight to be beaten big margin.
13BULB ELITE  K H Chan  (B-)

Held the rail and improved after start to assume narrow lead approaching the 1200m. Headed in the lead approaching the 600m before weakening out significantly from on straightening to be a long last.
