Strode forward, touch wide early before getting good run one away from rail behind leading pair. Moved up to assume lead at the 250m before drawing away late for easy win.
2HONEST WAY  B Shinn  (B-/CP2)

Began well before drifting back after first bend to race worse than midfield. Moved wider & commence to improve passing the 500m before finishing strongly in final 300m to snare fast finishing second in closing stages.

3MASTER ALBERT  A Hamelin  (B/E/TT)

Shifted behind runners early before racing wide & improving position to midfield passing the 800m. Left wide & without cover from the 700m. Dashed to second passing the 200m before being caught for 2nd on line.
4PERFECT PAIR  M L Yeung  (CP-/SR1)

Steadied after the start & drifted back to second last near the 900m. Continued near the back on cornering before finishing strongly, making up good late ground to well held forth from rearward position.

Improved after start to race outside leader. Shared lead soon after straightening before peaking on effort at the furlong & yielding a length to midfield in closing stages.

Raced last early before moving slightly closer to midfield on rail after the 800m. Steadied near 650m before being checked & losing ground when crowded near 450m. Passed a few when making ground to midfield but had excuse.

Ridden forward from wide gate before shifting across to midfield after first bend. Checked & drifted further back nearing the 950m. Only 3.5L from lead entering last section before weakening a further few lengths in straight.

Steadied after start & drifted back to last after the first bend. Was a clear last, long way from lead on cornering before making up a length from a poor position to well held midfield margin.

Showed good speed, raced outside leader before being crossed & racing third. Shifted down to rail near 700m to race on leaders back. Hard ridden approaching straight before weakening out sharply in last 300m. Well beaten.

Showed good speed to assume early lead. Raced keenly throughout first 500m. Joined & headed soon after straightening before weakening out significantly in straight to beat only one home.

11ROSSE SCARPE  H T Mo  (XB1)

Ridden along to hold midfield position in the rail in early stages. Became unbalanced & lost ground passing the 400m before weakening out sharply in the straight to be a long last.
