Steadied after start & raced a clear last. Niggled along throughout middle stages to hold position at tail. Moved wider passing 500m, clear last on straightening before motoring home last furlong to snare lead on post.

2EPTIWINS  Z Purton  (B)

Raced on the leaders back through early & middle stages. Moved away from the rail approaching the 400m, improved to assume narrow lead near the 50m mark before being caught right in line by fast finishing winner.

3METHANE  K Teetan  (B)

Steadied, allowed to drift back to race second last. Moved wider & commenced to improve from the 600m before making continual late headway in the straight to be narrowly beaten.

4LIGHTNING STEED  J Moreira  (TT)

Strode forward to assume early lead before being challenged & headed momentarily in middle stages. Regained outright lead at the 700m, raced over a length clear entering last section before being caught inside last 50m.

5MISSION SMART  K C Leung  (H1)

Raced in midfield away from rail before shifting down to the rail near 600m. Steadied & lost a length near 450m when close to heels before getting clear running near the inside on straightening & finishing off steadily to midfield.

6STARLIT KNIGHT  V Borges

Settled in good position between runners behind leading trio. Lost some ground when checked behind tiring runner at 550m before shifting into clear running on cornering. Finished off steadily in straight without threatening.

7INCANTO PREPARED  C Schofield  (E/TT)

Steadied after start & drifted back towards the rear. Entered last section with only one runner behind, 7L from the lead. Stayed close to the inside after straightening & passed a few to midfield but was never a threat.

8BULB ELITE  C Wong

Steadied when crowded at the start & settled just worse than midfield away from rail. Maintained position 5L from the lead entering last section when racing between runners before making no headway in straight. Well held.

9POLYMER LUCK  C Y Ho  (B)

Strode forward from wide gate to race prominently before being left wide but with cover throughout. Ridden along approaching the 400m before peaking on effort soon after straightening. Gave significant ground in straight.

10PERFECT HARMONY  H T Mo  (B/TT)

Bumped & lost some ground after the start before settling worse than midfield on rail. Hard ridden from the 700m before commencing to give ground from the 550m. Weakened out further in the straight & was well beaten.

11MOON PEAKS  H W Lai  (B/TT)

Pushed forward after start, moved to narrow lead away from rail near the 1100m before racing outside leader from the 700m. Began yielding ground from the 600m & weakened out significantly in last section.

12REGENCY GEM  M Chadwick  (B/TT)

Pushed forward after the start but was left racing three wide without cover throughout. Continued wide passage, only a length form the lead at the 650m before weakening out significantly from the 600m. Long last.
