Steadied behind runners after start, raced worse than midfield. Moved wider & improved quickly passing 500m, sprinted quickly on straightening to assume lead at 275m, dashed clear, ridden quietly late. Held fast finisher.
2LONDON LUCKYSTAR  K Teetan  (B)

Bumped & checked after start before shifting to the fence at tail.Continued at the rear, badly held up behind runners nearing corner, moved wider in straight, flew home final furlong to get within a length.Clear of third & unlucky.
3RACING LUCK  C Y Ho

Began awkwardly & lost a length before mustering speed to race in midfield between runners. Moved wider on cornering, dashed to second approaching the 250m before battling away to hold well beaten third.
4CLEAR CHOICE  A Hamelin  (B/TT)

Had a soft run in midfield on rail throughout. Moved away from inside on cornering, shifted out to clear running near the 200m before finishing off fairly to well beaten fourth.

5PING HAI TREASURE  K C Leung  (P)

Strode to be prominent after the start, raced in second early before getting cover in third by the 900m. Moved wider prior to straightening, closer to lead at 300m before peaking on effort late & weakening to midfield.

6COT CAMPBELL  C Schofield  (B)

Raced on leaders back throughout. Badly held up behind leader from cornering until passing the 200m, before again being held up near the 100m. Got clear late & finished well when race was all over. Should have been closer.
7BRAVE KING  B Shinn

Shifted behind runners after start & settled with only two runners behind. Improved position between runners approaching the bend before managing to maintain margin in final section to midfield.

8NUREMBERG  H N Wong  (B/TT)

Didn't have the speed of others despite being hard ridden at start & drifted back to race just worse than midfield on rail. Continued on the inside on cornering but failed to improve & was well beaten to midfield at finish.
9TOUCH OF LUCK  M Chadwick  (CP)

Bumped heavily at start before being ridden forward when racing wide early. Covered extra ground when improving around runners to race outside leader passing the 1000m. Hard ridden on straightening before peaking at 250m.
10SUPERICH  Z Purton  (SR/TT)

Not bustled after start & steadied across to race at the rear away from the fence. Moved three wide with cover when after 400m. Hard ridden to improve form the 500m, but could only maintain margin. Well held.

11CANTSTOPTHEFEELING  M F Poon  (CP-/B1/TT)

Showed good early speed to cross the field & assume lead. Joined & headed soon after straightening & weakened out in the final furlong to be well beaten.

12YOUNG THUNDER  M L Yeung  (CP)

Bumped heavily at start before drifting back after being forced wide on first bend. Relegated to last near 500m when under hard riding. Yielded significant further ground in straight. (Mucus in trachea, must trial-poor perf).
13PRECISE EXPRESS  H W Lai  (XB1)

Not fast to begin, hard ridden to hold midfield position before being left 3 wide with cover throughout. Began yielding ground from the 600m before weakening out further. Beaten a big margin. (Must trial-poor performance).
14SHANGHAI GRACE  T H So

Bumped heavily between runners after start before being forced very wide at first corner & then racing 4 wide without cover in midfield. Began losing ground from the 600m, beaten a big margin. (Must trial-poor performance).
