Mustered speed after the start to lead. Raced two lengths clear entering the last furlong before having enough in hand for comfortable win.

2CASA DE FORCA  K Teetan  (B)

Ridden forward but left three wide no cover in midfield throughout early & middle stages. Entered last section just under 2L from lead before finishing strongly in closing stages to second. Good given wide passage.
3HONEST WAY  N Callan  (B)

Began well before steadying and getting good run away from the rail in midfield. Two lengths from the lead entering the last section before finishing off steadily between runners to be close behind.
4CLASSIC POSH  B Shinn  (B-)

Steadied from wide gate & drifted back before being relegated to last place after first section. Continued near the rear, forced wide on cornering, bumped heavily soon after before making some late headway without threatening.

Improved after the start to race outside the leader after the first furlong. Was within a length of the lead entering the last section before weakening a few lengths in the final furlong.

Didn't begin fast but improved after start to race in midfield away from rail. Moved wider approaching the corner but could make no further headway in the last section & could only finish midfield without threatening.

Raced in midfield on the rail. Moved away from the rail on cornering but could make no headway in the last section & was well held in midfield.

8GOLDEN LINK  M Chadwick

Steadied after start & shifted back to race third last. Forced wider when racing tight on cornering before being awkwardly placed & bumped heavily soon after. Made no improvement in final 300m but wasn't the worst.

9SHINING ON  C Y Ho  (B)

Began awkwardly & lost ground before improving slightly along the rail after the first section. Continued near the rear on cornering but made no headway in straight & only beat one home.

Slightly slow to begin before mustering speed quickly to hold the rail & race on the leaders back. Came under hard riding entering the last section before weakening abruptly in the final 300m. Last.
