Began well, raced in second on rail, 4L from lead after first section. Moved closer to lead approaching the corner, moved up to assume lead at the 250m & continued on strongly in last furlong to score easily.

Raced in third away from rail, continued in similar position approaching bend when 2.5L from lead entering last section. Ran into second passing the furlong mark & continued on well. No match for winner.
3WONDER BRAHMA  M L Yeung  (H)

Drifted back after the first bend when racing in midfield on the rail. Stayed close to the inside on cornering. Moved over heals at the 200m before finishing off steadily into third in final 100m.
3MENAGGIO  N Callan  (H)

Not fast to begin & raced with only 3 runners behind for majority. Moved closer to the lead approaching the corner before finishing off steadily in the final furlong to share third on the line.

Ridden to midfield after the start, racing three wide with cover early before being left without cover approaching 600m. Cornered the widest runner before finishing off fairly in closing 300m.

6GRAND HARBOUR  H N Wong  (H/TT)

Strode to midfield, three wide without cover. Improved in second section, moving to third. Just over 2L from lead entering last section before peaking & yielding a few lengths in final 250m.

Steadied after the start & drifted back to second last, over 9L form lead after first section. Continued rearward, six lengths from lead entering final section before effectively maintaining that margin straight. No threat.
8ONE STEP AHEAD  K C Leung  (TT1)

Didn't begin fast & drifted back to third last on rail. Was tightened & checked severely nearing the 600m & lost over 4L. Next to last on straightening before making up a few lengths in last section.

Hard ridden, showed fast early speed to lead by 4L in early & middle stages. Peaked & headed at the 250m before weakening out significantly thereafter.

Raced in midfield between runners, 3.5L from lead by the 800m. Moved wider nearing the corner before peaking on effort at the furlong & weakening out thereafter.
11VICTORY VISION  M F Poon  (B1)

Had no early speed & raced at the tail from the start. Continued at the tail, 10 lengths from lead entering the last section before failing to make any headway into that margin. Well beaten.
