Soon dropped to wide in rear of midfield despite ridden along, commenced move 4-wide rounding home bend, kept on steadily without quickening in the straight.

Jumped fairly, soon came to join the leaders, shifted 2L back in 3rd on the rail over 800 metres out, in similar position turning in, faded inside the final 200 metres.

Well back, hampered and dropped to tail-end over 1000 metres out, switched off the rail for a run 400 metres out, fought on steadily under pressure inside the final 300 metres.

Broke well, settled within 3L of the pace in 5th on the rail, slightly further back coming onto home bend, kept on before finding no extra closing stages.

Mainly in midfield, came under pressure to challenge after straightening, ran home one-paced and hampered near the line.

Crowded at start settling one from last, checked 500 metres out, came under pressure rounding home bend, went wide into straight, kept on at the one pace.

Showed early speed, joined in the front coming onto back straight, shifted one back passing the 600 metres, folded up quickly shortly after straightening. (Tactic questioned) (Lame next day)
