Dropped back early to sit 2nd last, 9L off the leaders, on the rails with cover. Took a small run at 200m, before running strongly in the latter stages and crossing the line going away from the opposition.
2LEADING HORSE  K C Leung  (H)

Pushed forward early to be well placed in 3rd/4th, 3L off the leader and 1 off the fence. Looked to be the best of them at the 100m, but taken by the winner soon after. Shifted out under pressure late.
3MARVEL HERO  O Doleuze

Only fairly away before pushing forward to settle midfield, on the fence. Well placed on the turn, and ran strongly to the line without a big kick.
4GRAND HARBOUR  K K Chiong  (BO/H/TT)

Began awkwardly and blundered, but still managed to push forward to be the early leader, on the rail. Still in front at 75m, but peaked soon after and was swamped near the line late.
5WINNAM  N Rawiller  (B/TT)

Taken back as usual to sit worse than midfield, on the rail. Held up when attempting a run at 200m, before switching back in and running well late.
6VERBINSKY  D Whyte  (TT)

Pushed forward from the wide draw early to be one of the early leaders, 1 off the fence. Looked OK at the 200m, but looked to lay out away from the whip and only plugged to the line late.
7ATHENA BABY  J Moreira

OK away and cruised forward early to eventually settle midfield, 1 off the fence. Came wider on the turn, and ran on well at the top of the straight, before running 1 paced late and fading out of the finish.
8LUCKY GUY  K Teetan  (SR-/B/TT1)

Began well and taken forward early to be handily placed in 5th, 1 off the fence and keen. Began to run on well, before being tightened from the 200m and checked out of run 150m, losing ground. Never recovered and eased to line.
9SAN NICASIO  N Callan  (SR)

Began well and taken forward early to be handily placed, 4th on the rail. Never responded to pressure in the straight, and dropped out late.
10GOLD DRAGON  C Schofield  (B/TT)

Slowly away and dropped back early to sit at the rear on the field, 9L off the leaders and 1 off the fence. Came widest on the turn, but didn't respond to riders urgings, and only went fairly to the line. Eased last 100m.
11RAZOR QUEST  K C Ng  (H/TT)

Dropped back from the wide draw to sit at the rear of the field, 3 wide with cover. Only went fairly to the line, under hands and heels, in the straight.
12CLASSIC EMPEROR  Z Purton  (CP-/H2)

Drifted across from the wide draw to sit towards the rear of the field, 3 wide with no cover. Came wider on the turn, but disappointing and quietly ridden in the straight.
13RUBY COAST  C Y Ho

Slowly into stride before finding a position behind midfield, 1 off the fence. Didn't respond to urgings in the straight and eased out of the race a long way from home.
14GLENEALY PRIZE  Y T Cheng

Dropped out from the jump, and played no part in the race. Jockey questioned.
