Broke well from a middle draw, wide in midfield early before parked 2-wide behind runners just worse than midfield, obtained clear run over 250 metres out and ran on under pressure to claim race close to home.

Taken across from a wide gate for rails run towards the rear, remained similar turning in, ran on down the inner of home straight to just fail to get up on line.

Jumped fairly, settled in midfield on rails, came under strong pressure upon straightening, ran on doggedly to narrowly miss first two.

Worked his way across from a wide gate to lead or dispute lead, fought hard to gain slender advantage briefly 200 metres out but soon swamped.

Broke well, settled just off the pace on rails, quickened to hold some chance inside final 100 metres only to be swamped final few strides.
