Slow to begin settling 4th from the rear after being hampered near the 1400M, racing on the paint. Rolled off the rail on the circle .Closed off soundly, edged clear after the 50m.

Parked 2nd, outside the leader, no cover. Hit the front approaching the 300m, and fought gamely right to the wire.

Settled last close to the rail with cover. Peeled out early in the straight and maintained a solid gallop down the running.

Camped 3 back the paint. Was still there at the 100m, but was collard late to miss third placing.

Settled just off midfield, 2 deep with cover. Maintained a steady gallop down the running.

Enjoyed the box seat. Had every possible hope. Faded inside the 100m.
