Ridden patiently, third from the rear, 2-3 wide with cover. Rounded the home turn widest and closed off with plenty of purpose to have the race in its keeping 50m out.
2FLYING IN  G Mosse  (CP)

Travelled on the rails with cover, behind midfield. Worked its way out into the clear in the run home and hit the line well.
3MR GOURMET  T Angland  (B1)

Camped ahead of midfield, 2 wide with cover. Hit the front at the 150m, grudgingly gave way in the run to the post.
4GREAT STORIES  M Demuro

Made its run from 2nd last, after travelling close to the running rail with cover. Looked for runs through the field in the straight and closed off soundly.
5SMART PLANET  K Teetan

Parked midfield, 2 deep with cover. Ran on steadily without threatening.
6CRIMSON HEART  C Y Lui  (B/H/TT)

Began awkwardly and lost ground, settling midfield the fence, had cover. Kept grinding away in the home straight.
7PERFECT MOMENT  W M Lai  (V)

Led early along the fence before being joined in the lead and travelling 2nd after the 900m. Kicked well clear early in the straight but was swamped near the 150m.
8FIERY FOUR BY FOUR  N Callan  (H)

Jumped well then raced keenly in the early stages when looking for cover. Eventually coursed 1 out I back near the 800m. Couldn't find any extra under pressure & faded in the run to the line.

Box seated early prior to settling 3 back the fence. Kept battling away until the 250m, couldn't sustain effort and weakened soon after.

Left 3 wide without cover on the circle, racing midfield. Was never a factor thereafter and only plodded down the running.
11KING'S FOLKS  C K Tong  (B)

Effectively box seated after the 800m. Had no real excuses and was well beaten approaching the 400m.
12ROYALE ELEGANCE  J Moreira  (H)

Went forward midrace after being wide & unable to secure cover back in the field. Led narrowly 1 off near the 900m. Failed to finish off.
13GOLDLAND DANCER  A Suborics  (CP-/B1)

Reared as the start was effected, missing the break considerably, settling a long last. Was never in the hunt and finished well back.
14TELEPHATIA  M Chadwick  (B)

Raced worse than midfield, 2 wide with cover. Struggled in the home stretch.
