Broke well from a poor draw, settled one back in 3rd on rails tracking leaders to the 300 metres, hit the front inside 100 metres, won readily.

Jumped fairly, settled in forward of midfield, hampered and lost some ground over 500 metres out, crept closer turning in on rails, ran on under pressure to be nearest at finish.

Began well, attempted to make all holding a narrow lead most of way, headed under pressure inside final 200 metres.

Jumped fairly from the widest gate, settled in 4th in better than midfield, inconvenienced over 500 metres out, kept on same pace.

Driven to contest lead, restrained to settle for close 2nd outside leader approaching the Rock, fought on under pressure but unable to quicken to threaten.
