Comments

1DR GOOD HABIT  D Whyte  (P)

Slotted across into a position just off midfield 5-6ls back, travelled well in mid-section, improved turning and let down with a strong sprint, had them covered at 200m and went on for another easy win.

2CHANCELLOR  M Chadwick  (B/TT)

Showed usual pace to take a prominent spot, dropped into 1 out 1 back trailing spot but used a bit early, challenged soon after turning and tried to go with eventual winner, no match final furlong but kept on well.

3HOLMES LEGEND  M L Yeung

Taken back from an outside gate, shared rear more than 10ls back, still well back sweeping wide turning, closed hard from an impossible position to just miss 2nd.

4AMAZINGLY  T Berry  (SR)

Got across from a tricky alley to race on rails in midfield, enjoyed an easy run 5-6ls back, improved turning and kept progressing in straight to be on heels of place getters.

5GOOD TREASURE  A Suborics  (B)

Took a midfield spot 5ls or so back in 2 wide line, had ideal run in mid-section, crept closer turning and finished off well in straight just missing frame.

6CALIFORNIA DUDE  G Mosse  (H/SW1/TT)

No early speed as usual and settled ta tail, more than 10ls back on rails, helped by even pace on, well back turning, produced usual honest close making good ground to be nearest on line.

7APPROVE  C Y Lui  (B)

Fair break, rushed up to take a leading position, did share of work to hold rail, shaded by outside horse though, regained lead turning and looked a place chance to 200m before early workload took toll and weakened.

8BUDDY BUDDIES  O Doleuze  (H)

Tardy into stride, raced 10ls back in running line, helped by tempo, still had a bit to do turning, lacked usual dash but closed off evenly in straight without threating.

9PEPPERMINT  N Berry  (TT)

No early pace, raced in rear division more than 10ls back early, aided by tempo, kept to rails to save ground turning and only made minor progress.

10BLOSSOM DAILY  T Angland  (H/P)

Slotted into nice spot behind pace trio, 3ls back in running line, fair run despite even tempo, in mix until 200m before weakening out late.

11GOLDLAND DANCER  R Fourie

Showed enough early pace to hold a spot on leaders back, although used a bit to do so, still there 2ls down turning, found no extra final 300m and dropped off.

Drifted back from a tricky gate to raced behind midfield 8ls back in running line, came wider turning, didn't have dash to factor and just battle din straight.

13NAVEL ORANGE  C W Wong
