Sped to the lead, crossed to stands' rail and took them along at steady pace, kept on strongly under pressure and always holding off the persistent 2nd.

In mid-division, pushed along 500M, made steady headway to go 2nd 100M out but well held by the winner.

Slow to begin but not hurried, reserved towards the rear, stayed on well to claim 3rd without getting near to first two.

Tracked leader, brief threat to winner passing 400M, one paced final 200M.

Knuckled over at the start, settled towards the rear, stayed on only fairly final 400M, ran past beaten runners for a remote 5th.

Travelled in mid-division, hung in when placed under pressure 400M, never going the pace to challenge.

Behind midfield, driven along passing halfway, kept on same pace, never threatened.

Urged to take a prominent spot just off the pace, lacked a further response passing 400M, weakened away.

Showed good early speed, tracked leader prominently but found little when the race got serious passing halfway.
