In midfield about 4Ls off the pace, had a smooth trip to straight, ran on strongly final 250M and reeled in long-time leader near 50M.

Had to use up a bit to lead from draw 12, took them along steadily, kept on well home straight, collared by winner nearing 50M and went down narrowly.

Not far off the pace in 4th, took some time to get going on straightening, responded well passing 200M, nearest finish.

Settled behind midfield 2-wide, in 6th place 4-5Ls off the pace for most of the trip, steadied when making his run near 250M, had his chance after that but only managed to stay on for a non threatening 4th.

Unable to slot in and was kept behind midfield 3-wide without cover, driven out nearing 400M, made some headway early straight, looked a possible winner until 200M, gradually weakened late stages.

Close up in 3rd, well placed to strike passing 400M, briefly threatened early straight, one paced over final 200M and no extra late stages.

Checked on jumping and shuffled back to last 8Ls off the steady pace, bid 3-wide home turn, stayed on final 300M without threatening.
