Began quickly and led along the grandstand side. Made every post a winner to register a solid win.
2GENERAL DANROAD  O Doleuze

Travelled along the outside rail in a midfield position. Closed off soundly.
3NOBLE VISION  G Cheyne  (B)

Settled just off the speed. Maintained the same pace over the final stages.
4TOAST FOR TROPHY  Z Purton

Slow to begin settling in front of midfield with cover. Was held up at vital stage, ran on nicely after securing clear running passing the furlong. Closed off well and finished towards the grandstand side.
5GOLD WINNER  H W Lai  (SR-/TT2)

Tracked the leader along the fence. Faded somewhat over the concluding stages.
6RUMBA KING  D Whyte

Checked at the start then ran on out abruptly. Settled some distance off the 2nd last horse. Made up good ground in the run to the wire.
7PILLOWIN  M Guyon

Settled in a handy spot towards the middle of the course. Hung in badly passing the 600m and soon after worked towards the inside running rail. Struggled over the concluding stages. (To trial.)
8EXCELLENT WIN  N Callan

Jumped well and camped behind the pace. Was asked for an effort after the 400m, but failed to respond and finished well back.
9MARVEL PLUS  J Moreira

Raced handy position well off the grandstand side. Gave little when placed under pressure at the business end of the race.

Raced worse than midfield towards the middle of the course. Kept on one paced in the run to the finish.
11FOR SZESZE SAN  M L Yeung  (B1)

Travelled near the middle of the course midfield. Looked flat over the final furlong.
12PONDEROSA  D Beadman  (B/TT)

Raced just behind the speed towards the outside rail. Was struggling after the 400m.
13BEST FIT  G Mosse  (TT)

Travelled well during the first half of the race, close to the speed. Was under pressure soon after and faded badly over the latter stages. (To trial.)

Settled at the back of the field along the centre of the course. Was a beaten horse after the 400m.
