Away in line, settled in midfield but always in touch, had a dream run along the rails, quickened well in straight to hit the front 100 M from home.

Held inside run and cruised to the lead near 600 M, drifted away from the fence making the turn, driven out 250 M, headed inside 100 M.

Quickly into stride, led early but gradually dropped back to midfield, chased leader 300 M out, kept grinding to the line and just held on for 3rd.

Began awkwardly, restrained to a rearward position 4 to 5Ls behind leader, switched out for a clear path and challenged from 300 M, ran on strongly under pressure to finish nearest at the line.

Assumed a position in midfield, 3-wide on the turn, made steady headway down the centre but was never getting there in time.

Taken back on jumping from the wide barrier, 2 off the fence in the rear group, steadied early in straight and had huge task in hand, ran on well over final 200 M, never nearer.

Raced in last few, held inside run, made some progress down the inner on straightening but no real impression.

Dashed to the front, sat one-out-one-back from leader at the turn, had every chance but looked very laboured when asked to quicken, faded away inside 200 M.

Hard ridden out the gate, up front disputing the lead early but dropped back to avoid racing wide entering the home turn, unable to pick up and weakened over 200 M out.

Raced 2-wide behind midfield, had to be pushed along passing 500 M, kept on one pace to the line, never on terms. (Mildly distressed / abnormally high heart rate.)

Up with the early pace, unable to cross and trapped 3-wide, not picked up in straight, eased close home.

Drawn on the outside, raced 4-wide and covered more ground than others, under pressure 400 M, soon running on empty.
