Began with others, niggled at early to share the pace outside joint leader, held slender advantage turning for home, given reminders early in straight but always in command under hands and heels final stages.

Began only fairly, gradually picked up under urge to dispute lead along rails, narrow 2nd turning for home but unable to peg back eventual winner throughout closing stages.

3GLOBAL WIN  B Prebble  (B/TT)

Jumped moderately, settled just worse than midfield before losing position approaching home bend, towards rear into straight, fought on steadily to be nearest at finish.

4MACHO EXPRESSO  D Whyte

Broke well from the widest barrier, raced wide without cover down far side, shuffled back to midfield around the bend, made creditable late impression inside final 200 M to be nearest at finish.

Slightly slow out, gradually picked up to be 2L 3rd around the bend, similar turning in, kept on well.

Began fairly, soon ridden to muster speed, settled in forward of midfield to straight, ran home one-paced.

Broke well from a high draw, amongst leaders early before shuffling back to 4-wide midfield approaching home bend, went backward turning in and made no show in straight.
