Urged along after start but didn't quite pick up. Trailed 9Ls and was taken very wide swinging for home. Had enormous task in the straight but stormed home to cut down rivals inside final 250 M for a last to first victory.
2STREET CAT  J Lloyd  (B1/TT)

Raced towards rear early. Improved round the outside passing 800 M and was 4Ls back turning in. Made a strong run inside final furlong and had every chance until eventual winner flashed past near the post.
3AMNESTY  W M Lai  (B/XB2/TT)

Travelled wide and without cover in midfield. Hampered and forced to go widest at 700 M. 4Ls behind the speed turning for home. Improved steadily in the straight to snatch minor placing close to home.
4HAPPY REUNION  H W Lai  (B/TT)

Pressed early from a high draw. Led 2-wide with a 1L advantage rounding the turn. Still hung on at 100 M but couldn't fend off the front trio closing stages.
5NOBLE CHOICE  M Du Plessis  (XB)

Began well. Sat on fence behind the leader 900 M out. Launched challenge in the straight but outsprinted by the principals final 100 M.

Began awkwardly and raced at rear. Inconvenienced and slipped further back making the home turn. Took inside run thereafter and was 5Ls off on straightening. Kept going in the straight and was nearest at finish.
7ELITE FORTUNE  B Doyle

Last out. Raced at rear on fence early stages. Gradually moved away from the rails passing 700 M. 4-wide 7Ls down on straightening. Progressed steadily in the straight.

Eased to sit behind midfield early. Improved from 1000 M but trapped 2 to 3-wide without much cover. 2Ls behind the speed on turning. Ran on steadily in the straight and weakened inside 100 M.

Well enough away. Settled 2-wide behind the pace from 900 M. Hampered and shifted 4-wide at 700 M. 2Ls off turning into the home straight. Kept trying but faded inside 100 M. (Bled.)

Jumped well and enjoyed an easy run on fence at midfield through to the home straight. Kept one-paced thereafter.

Hard pressed early. Stayed within 3Ls of the pace through to the home straight. Peaked inside 150 M.

Always at midfield until straightening. Failed to quicken when asked.
