Began slightly awkwardly, settled first behind midfield, then gradually picked up to mid-division, shifted out for stands rails run passing 400 M, quickened up well to snatch easy victory final strides.

Broke well, disputed lead with stands rails run, fought on well under pressure but failed to match smart winner's late burst of speed.

Never far off within striking distance, held every chance until unable to quicken under pressure nearing finish.

Never far off travelling well in the centre of the track, came late to challenge inside final 250 M, did best work at the finish.

Moderate start, soon in touch, gradually improved to join leaders over 200 M out holding good chance, faded out of contention inside final 100 M.
