Raced in midfield, three wide with cover. Held up momentarily on straightening when shifting out for a run, got clear & asked for full effort at 300m mark, raced to lead at 150m & went on to win with something in hand.
2着STAR CONTACT　　L Currie　　(B-/CP1/TT)

Had a nice spot 1,1 early before being shuffled a pair further back from 900m. Made ground between runners at 250m, moved to second at 125m, continued well all the way to line but couldn't match winner.
3着CHEERY　　K C Leung　　(B)

Not much early speed but made ground along the rail to race in midfield. Straightened along the rail when 3L from lead, was held up & had no clear run until passing the 200m before closing strongly late for unlucky third.
4着DRAGON PRIDE　　M Chadwick

Shifted behind runners & down to rail in first furlong before racing third last along the inside. Moved off the rail on straightening when just over 4L from lead, shifted out, not much room at 200m before closing off ok late.
5着OVER THE MOON　　J McNeil　　(B/TT)

Drifted back after the start & raced worse than midfield when three wide with cover. Entered last section 4L from lead, raced tight between runners at 200m mark before closing off ok late to not be beaten far in midfield.
6着TURQUOISE ALPHA　　H Bowman　　(CP/H/XB)

Steadied & taken back to last from second widest gate. Moved wider on the track passing the 600m when continuing last. Was the widest runner on straightening when 4.5L behind before making some late ground to midfield.
7着OSCAR GLORY　　Y L Chung　　(V)

Pushed forward to lead. Continued in lead until being joined & passed by the winner at 150m before giving a few lengths in concluding stages.
8着NICHOLSON RETURNS　　L Hewitson　　(B)

Pushed forward after start, raced outside leader early before being crossed & racing 1,1 from 900m. Eased three wide before 600m, entered last section under 2L from lead when 4th before peaking 200m & giving some late ground.
9着FOREVER GLORIOUS　　C Y Ho　　(B1/TT)

Slow to begin before being ridden along to be forward of midfield after first 200m. Continued in first half but was left three wide without cover from about 900m. Straightened 3L behind, battled on well until 150m, weakened late.

Had a nice run on leaders back throughout. Continued only 2L from lead at the furlong mark before emptying & weakening in last 100m. (Roarer again).

Pushed forward, raced wide when disputing lead early before improving & shifting across to race outside the leader from the 950m. Continued in second until the 250m before emptying in last furlong & weakening late.
12着GENERAL WINNER　　L Ferraris　　(CP-/B1)

Raced in midfield between runners early before drifting slightly further back after the 850m bend. Continued to be shuffled further back approaching the home corner, straightened second last before doing nothing in straight.
13着RING BELLS　　M F Poon　　(B/XB)

Came across from widest gate but left racing four wide without cover in midfield from 1200m. Continued very wide around bend in middle stages, was beaten before straightening & weakened to long second last.
14着HAPPY HERO　　V Borges　　(B-)

Drifted back after start before racing third last between runners in middle stages. Was relegated to share last place near the 700m, was last & just under 6L from lead on straightening before weakening further to long last.
