Had a nice run in third along rail. Straightened 3L from the lead before closing strongly to strike the lead near the 150m mark & drawing clear to win by just over a length.
2着CALIFORNIA VANES　　Z Purton　　(B/TT)

Raced second, about 3L behind leader near half-way. Straightened about 2L from the lead, moved up to take lead near the 250m mark before being over-powered by winner near the 150m. Held 2nd, clear of third on line.
3着PROSECCO　　A Badel

Raced in midfield along the rail throughout. Straightened just under 6L from the lead before closing off well in final furlong to move to third place in final 50m.

4着ETERNAL BLOOM　　C Y Ho

Drifted back after the start & raced just worse than midfield away from rail after being slightly wide early. Was over 6L behind on straightening before closing off well in the concluding stages to move to 4th late.
5着BIRDSVILLE　　B Shinn　　(B1/TT1)

Steadied after the start & raced worse than midfield along the rail. Entered last section 7L from the lead before closing off steadily in concluding stages to halve margin on the line.

6着GOOD BEAUTY　　C L Chau　　(CP/TT)

Didn't have the early speed of others & drifted back to race worse than midfield. Had only 3 runners behind on straightening when 8L from lead before passing a few tiring rivals when making steady headway to midfield.
7着SUPER AXIOM　　C Wong　　(H/P/TT)

Obtained lead easily after start. Held 3L advantage over second in middle stages, straightened with a 2L advantage before being headed by the runner-up near the 250m mark & weakening out in final 150m.

8着GALLANT HERO　　J Moreira　　(CP1)

Drifted back after start & shifted across from outside gate to race second last. Ridden along approaching 500m, straightened 9.5L behind, shifted inwards 200m before being closest on line but being too far back to challenge.
9着NOBLE DESIRE　　L Hewitson　　(CP/SR)

Raced in midfield away from the rail throughout. Was just over 5L from the lead on straightening & failed to make any headway & was passed by a number of rivals when weakening to finish ninth.
10着TOUCH FAITH　　M F Poon

Had no early speed & was shifted behind runners to the rail & settle third last along the rail. Was over 8L behind on straightening & never really got into the race. Third last & never likely.
11着SMILING COLLECTOR　　M L Yeung　　(SR)

Raced 4th away from rail but hung outwards badly around the bend before veering off the track just after half-way & losing all competitive chance. Genuine excuse. (Must trial).
12着TUNG HAYE HAYE　　V Borges　　(B/XB/TT)

Reared at start & lost ground before racing at tail. Was over 11L behind on straightening & never improved. Long last.
