Raced just worse than midfield away from rail before moving three wide at 750m & improving around runners to third position near 600m. Dashed well to move to lead at 250m before drawing away in final furlong to win strongly.

Pushed forward to race second away from the rail. Moved up to share lead entering the last section, joined quickly by winner soon after straightening, fought on ok to hold second in final stages but was no match for winner.
3着	ASIAN ONE　　L Hewitson　　(B/TT)
Raced just worse than midfield on rail. Moved away from inside near the 800m, eased wider at the 400m when travelling strongly & 4L form the lead before closing off well in the final stages to well beaten third. Better.
4着	MANNA FROM HEAVEN　　H W Lai　　(B)
Raced prominent to lead in first furlong before being crossed & racing in midfield away from rail. Entered last section under 3L behind, moved three wide soon after before finishing off only steadily to hold 4th, beaten 3.5L.

Drifted back after the start & raced second last for the majority. Continued rearward entering last section when over 5L from the lead before closing off ok from the back to be midfield, beaten a similar margin on line.
6着	RED IMPACT　　Z Purton
Ridden early before getting nice run 1,1 throughout. Straightened only 2L from lead but failed to challenge in straight & weakened out in last furlong to be well beaten in midfield. Travelled keenly & wouldn't relax – rider.
7着	WINNING VOLATILITY　　A Badel　　(PC)
Raced in midfield along the rail throughout. Stayed close to the rail on cornering when about 3L from the lead before weakening out in the straight to be beaten over 6L.
8着	TAILOR MADE　　H Bentley　　(TT)
Drifted back after start & was left racing three wide no cover near the back. Moved slightly closer passing 700m, continued wide around final bend before giving a few lengths to be beaten 6.5L. Rider questioned, see report.
9着	SMART PATCH　　A Hamelin　　(B)
Drifted back after the start & raced at the rear throughout. Moved wide but with cover at the 650m, very wide on cornering when a long way from lead before passing a few but still finishing a fair way behind winner.

Had a soft run on leaders back throughout. Was under 2L from the lead on straightening before weakening poorly in the straight to be well beaten.
