Began smartly, opted to sit behind lead on the rail, soldiered on to the line, only caught by winner late.

Shifted across to rail early, at rear, kept kicking and closed off nicely to take 3rd.

Took back, at tail, 2 wide until shifted to rail prior to 600M turn, saved ground and ran on nicely.
