Restrained to race towards the rear, taken wide in straight to challenge, closed off well to go 2nd last stride, no chance with runaway winner.

Held up behind midfield, no closer than 3-wide throughout the race, quickened well early straight to lead briefly inside 200M, soon brushed aside by winner, held 2nd until last stride.

Obtained running in midfield along the 2-path, put in a mild bid from 400M, no chance with runaway winner, lost 3rd late. (Lame next day.)

Reserved in midfield along the fence, was about to make his challenge but got badly held up for clear running 300-200M, stayed on final stages to the line to take 5th.
