Travelled wide and keenly at times in last few, remained similar into home straight, quickened well inside final 300 metres to snatch victory 50 metres out.

2着SKY FOREVER　　H W Lai　　(TT)

Trailed the field to the 500 metres, baulked at the 400 metres before switching back inside for a run near the rail, quickened under pressure to hold every chance inside the 150 metres, unable to sustain effort close to home.
3着BELUGA　　Z Purton　　(H)

Travelled prominently 3-wide without cover after beginning from a wide gate, hit the front under pressure 200 metres out only to be caught close to home.

4着PLEASANT ENDEAVOR　　V Borges　　(CP)

Close up early, drifted steadily backward to be midfield rounding home bend, fought on steadily under pressure without threatening.
5着CROSSFORD　　J Moreira

Checked at start, soon taken back across for rails run in last few, angled out for a run entering home straight but baulked until the 250 metres, produced good late impression in closing stages.

Settled in forward of midfield in 6th about 3L off the pace on the rail, gained closer around the bend and switched out for a run on straightening, kept on one pace.

Pressed forward from the widest gate to lead, obtained rails run over 1100 metres out, led until headed into straight, fought on to hold 2nd place until overhauled inside final 150 metres.

Not far off in 4th or 5th to home straight, kept on under pressure until finding no extra inside final 100 metres, inconvenienced shortly after.

Broke well from a wide gate, settled just off the pace in 2nd 2-wide, came to hit the front on straightening only to be overshadowed inside final 200 metres.
