Had nice run in midfield on rail. Entered last section just over 2L from the lead, shifted over heals approaching 300m, dashed to lead at 225m before continuing on to win softly on the line.

2着MOERAKI　　A Hamelin　　(B)

Raced in midfield away from the rail without cover in middles stages. Moved closer to lead approaching corner, entered last section just over 2L behind before finishing well to move to second place passing 150m.

3着TEAM POWER　　C Schofield

Raced in third place in the clear behind the first two who raced well clear in middle stages. Moved off rail on straightening, entered last section under 2L from lead, dashed to share second at 150m, held third on line.
4着MASTER HERO　　K Teetan　　(XB/TT)

Steadied from the widest gate & drifted back to second last. Was a long way behind passing half-way before moving wide to improve at 600m. Very wide on cornering when 5.5L behind before making significant late ground to 4th.

5着UNCLE STEVE　　C L Chau　　(CP/SR/XB)

Steadied & drifted back to race worse than midfield along the rail. Continued along the inside on cornering when about 6L behind before closing off steadily from the rear to halve margin on the line.

6着RUN RUN COOL　　B Shinn　　(B)

Showed early speed to lead before being headed at 1100m & racing second, 2L behind easy leader in middle stages. Moved over heels 500m, dashed to lead at 400m until being joined by winner 225m & weakening a few lengths late.
7着CRAIG'S STAR　　H Bentley　　(B)

Crowded at the start & consequently got further back & raced worse than midfield between runners. Straightened over 6L behind before making up a few lengths to finish in midfield without threatening.
8着WIN WIN FIGHTER　　C Y Ho

Drifted back to race third last away from rail in early & middle stages. Shifted wider on cornering, entered last section over 7L behind before making steady late progress when running onto midfield from rearward position.
9着KAI XIN DRAGON　　C Wong

Raced prominently early before improving along rail to take the lead near the 1100m. Continued in lead holding 2L advantage in middles stages, joined & headed on straightening before weakening out poorly in final 250m.
10着APACHE PASS　　R Maia

Shifted across to midfield but was left racing 3 wide without cover throughout. Continued wide around bend, straightened just over 4L behind before emptying early in the straight & weakening final 250m.

Crowded at start & consequently raced rearward before making up some ground along the rail to midfield in middle stages. Was hard ridden prior to straightening before weakening out further in the straight to be well beaten.
12着FANTASTIC SHOW　　H T Mo　　(B)

Was slow to begin & then had no early speed & was tailed out a long last soon after start. Continued to be hard ridden down back straight & raced 12L from lead at the 800m. Failed to run on from the rear & was never a factor.

Began awkwardly, shifted across to midfield when 4 wide early before getting cover in 3 wide line near the 900m. Continued wide around bend, straightened just over 6L behind before weakening poorly to be long second last.

Bumped at start before obtaining position in midfield between runners throughout. Was hard ridden prior to straightening when about 5.5L behind before weakening badly in the straight to be long last.
