Settled well behind from moderate start, trailed the field to the top of home bend at the 750 metres, went widest for a run entering home straight, ran on to be nearest at finish despite hanging in. (Tactic questioned)

Began well from the one draw but soon dropped to last few despite niggled at early, checked behind runners between 850 and 650 metres, snuck up from last on home turn, sustained good progress on the rail to be nearest at finish.

Travelled wide prominently early, raced keenly rounding home bend and pulled to the front 750 metres out, unable to sustain effort inside final 200 metres.
