Raced three deep with cover in midfield throughout. Eased wider approaching corner, straightened the widest runner when around 3L behind before closing strongly in final furlong to strike lead in final few strides.
2着SPEEDY DRAGON　　H W Lai　　(B2/TT1)

Had a nice run on leaders back throughout. Moved over the leaders' heels on straightening, dashed to lead near 250m mark before being headed by winner in final strides.

3着BIG BANG BONG　　T Piccone　　(B)

Began only fairly, before mustering speed & racing in midfield on rail. Improved along rail to enter last section under 2L from lead before finishing steadily to move to third near the 100m mark.

4着JOY MASTER　　C Y Ho　　(V/TT)

Raced just worse than midfield, 3 wide with cover throughout. Eased wider on cornering, entered last section over 4L behind before closing off steadily down the outside to get within 2L on the line.
5着SPICY GRILL　　J Moreira　　(B/H/TT)

Obtained good position 1,1. Held up behind the heels of a tiring runner near corner, shifted into clear running on straightening when under 2L behind, moved up to be under 1L from lead at furlong mark before weakening late.
6着HAPPY HOUR　　M Chadwick　　(E/TT)

Had no speed after start before improving position to race in midfield between runners. Entered last section 3L from the lead & finished off evenly to maintain that margin in midfield finish.
7着ALLOY KING　　A Hamelin　　(B)

Shifted to last early before improving slightly along rail when racing rearward. Raced keenly passing 800m, stayed along the rail on straightening when just over 3L from the lead before giving a length in concluding stages.
8着MOON PEAKS　　H Bentley　　(B/H)

Shared lead in early stages before gaining narrow outright lead approaching 800m mark. Cornered around a length in front before being joined near the 250m & weakening out thereafter.
9着AMAZING LUCK　　K C Leung　　(B)

Steadied in early stages & drifted back to race between runners near the tail. Entered last section 5L from the lead, commenced to make steady ground in final furlong before being held up over the concluding stages.

10着MANY GAINS　　V Borges　　(TT1)

Shifted behind runners to race rearward, 4 wide with cover throughout. Lost ground when forced wider on cornering before being relegated to last entering final section. Made no ground & was well held.

11着MONEYMORE　　M L Yeung　　(CP)

Ridden forward to race three wide outside the leading pair before steadying & racing just under 2L behind from the 600m. Continued wide around bend before commencing to give ground from the 500m mark. (Lame next day).
12着LUCKY TURBO　　M F Poon　　(B/TT)

Steadied after start, drifted back before being relegated to last passing 1000m mark. Hard ridden on cornering, stayed along rail on straightening before weakening a further few lengths. Well beaten.
13着GO BALLISTIC　　C Schofield　　(B-/SR2/TT)

Ridden forward from second widest gate to challenge for lead near the 1000m mark when racing 4 wide. Continued wide around bend, began losing ground before cornering & weakened badly to be long second last. (Must trial).
14着HAPPY RUBY　　C Wong　　(XB/TT)

Began awkwardly before showing speed after start, led narrowly 1200m, shared lead at 1000m before racing at leaders flanks from 700m. Began yielding ground from before cornering & weakened to very long last. (Must trial).
