Pressed forward to lead from a wide gate, obtained rails run over 600 metres out, held over 1L advantage turning in kicking 2L clear inside the 200 metres, won readily.

2着LOVING A BOOM　　Z Purton　　(TT)

Taken back from the widest gate towards the rear racing wide without cover, commenced move rounding home bend and ran on well between runners in straight, did best work late.

3着SKY SHOW　　J Moreira　　(TT1)

Driven forward from a wide gate, obtained near rails run in 2nd inside the 700 metres, came under pressure turning in but failed to quicken to threaten.

4着MOMENTUM GALAXY　　A Hamelin　　(B)

Broke well, gradually settled in forward of midfield in 6th some 4L off the pace, came under pressure to challenge after straiightening but unable to sustain effort inside final 50 metres.

5着LARSON　　M F Poon　　(B/TT)

Soon dropped to rear of midfield despite ridden along, travelled mainly 3-wide without cover most of the way, went widest turning in, kept on same pace without quickening under pressure down the centre of the straight.
6着MR LUMIERES　　K C Leung　　(V1)

Jumped well, close up on the rail settling 2 back in joint 3rd, saved ground on the inside turning in, found nothing under pressure in the run to the line.

7着WINNING BREW　　C Y Ho　　(B-/CP1)

Slightly slow out, improved steadily along the rail to midfield in joint 7th some 5L back 700 metres out, lost about 1L inside the 600 metres, saved ground turning in, one-paced under pressure in the run to the line.

8着NORDIC WELLSTAR　　A Badel

Began fairly, never far off and mainly 2 back in 4th, similar turning for home, one-paced under pressure. (Questioned for disappointing performance)
9着MEGA HEART　　N Callan　　(XB/TT)

Settled in rear from a wide gate, made some headway under pressure approaching home turn, made no impression after straightening.

10着HAPPY GOOD GUYS　　C Wong　　(B)

Ridden along from a wide gate mainly 3-wide without cover in first few, went wider turning for home, found nothing under pressure, beaten when inconvenienced 150 metres out.

11着SINCERE BOY　　H W Lai　　(B)

Crowded at start, soon dropped to last despite ridden along, tailed-off from rounding home bend.
12着ETERNAL BEAUTY　　M L Yeung　　(TT)

Began fairly, settled just worse than midfield, hampered and lost position over 500 metres out, made no impression thereafter.
