1着BEST FOR YOU　　K Teetan　　(B)

Began fast before being steadied & getting good position two pairs back on rail for majority. Improved to third on rail entering last section before making continual ground last furlong to snatch narrow lead in late stages.

2着ZHAN JIANG ROCKS　　Z Purton　　(TT)

Steadied from outside gate & shifted behind runners to race midfield on rail. Travelled well entering last section, stayed on inside on cornering before making strong late ground to charge to narrowly beaten second on line.
3着LADY FIRST　　J Moreira　　(CP/H/XB/TT)

Raced wide leaving straight first time before crossing to rail when leading near the 1200m. Raced 2L clear approaching corner, continued to hold over 3L margin at 200m before tiring in late stages & being over-run late.
4着ROYAL RACER　　C Y Ho　　(V)

Shifted behind runners & raced third last. Moved wider near the 500m, continued near the tail when a long way from lead on cornering before making strong late ground down the outside to be beaten less than two lengths.
5着MALDIVES　　N Callan　　(XB)

Had a good position 1,1 for majority. Moved three wide around a tiring runner near the 500m, entered last section just under 4L from lead before finishing off steadily in straight to be beaten less than two lengths.
6着HAPPY ICHIBAN　　A Hamelin　　(B)

Raced in midfield away from rail throughout. Came under hard riding when pace quickened near the 450m, cornered just over 5L from lead before finishing off one paced in straight to be 3.5L behind.
7着JUDY'S STAR　　A Badel

Strode to prominent position after start before racing just behind easy leader away from rail. Niggled along from the 600m before beginning to lose ground from the 500m before weakening a further few lengths in straight.
8着COMPASSION STAR　　T Piccone

Raced close to lead before being crossed & racing on leaders back form the 1200m. Continued in second but nearly 2L behind leader who raced clear on cornering before weakening out in final 250m.

9着AFTER ME　　H W Lai

Got head down prior to the start & consequently lost significant ground before joining onto back of the field after 300m. Continued last, 9L from lead entering last section before playing no part late. Had excuse at start.
10着FRESH POWER　　H N Wong

Raced just worse than midfield away from rail for majority. Niggled along passing the 600m, entered last section 7L from lead before making no impression & weakening out to second last in straight. Well beaten.
11着VOLPINO　　H T Mo　　(H-/XB-/TT)

Began slowly losing a length or two before racing second last on the rail. Continued reward approaching corner when over 7L from lead before weakening out meekly in straight to be last.
