Niggled at early stages settling in midfield on the rail, gained closer to within 2L of pace rounding home bend, responded well inside the final 200 metres to take command over 100 metres out.

2着PARTY EVERYDAY　　K Teetan　　(H/TT)

Restrained mainly 2L off the pace in 5th 2-wide, in similar position turning in when jockey dropped his rein briefly, fought on steadily without threatening.

3着CROWN AVENUE　　Z Purton　　(V)

Settled better than midfield about 3L off the pace on the rail, gained closer to 4th coming onto home bend, ran on steadily in straight to narrowly miss 2nd.

4着SKYEY SUPREME　　J Moreira　　(B/TT)

Ridden positively from the widest gate to the front before ceding advantage for 2nd spot on the rail turning into back straight, switched out for a run rounding home bend and led into straight, swamped over 100 metres out.
5着DOUBLE TAKE　　M L Yeung　　(B)

Settled in rear of midfield, inconvenienced and lost position about 800 metres out, made up good late ground to be nearest at finish. (Tactic questioned)

Ridden positively from a wide gate to take up running at the 1200 metres, obtained rails run shortly after turning into back straight, led until narrowly headed home turn, weakened under pressure inside the 200 metres.

Jumped well, gradually settled in forward of midfield in back straight, slightly closer when pace slackened on home bend, one-paced in the run to the line.
