Tracked leader, came to challenge inside the 300 metres, gave upper hand 50 metres out.

Broke well, taken one back for cover in 3rd on stands rails, came to challenge passing the 200 metres but unable to peg back the winner throughout closing stages.
3着JUMBO LUCK　　H N Wong

Hampered at start, settled in last few when mainly about 2L off the pace, improved to as close as 1.5L back in 4th coming onto course proper, unable to sustain effort near the finish.
4着DOCTOR GEOFF　　M Chadwick　　(H)

Soon dropped to last of 7th over 4L off the pace, came under pressure to make ground inside the 400 metres, produced good late impression in closing stages.
