A touch slow when gates opened, soon recovered and dispute lead 4-wide first bend, settled in second without cover back straight, assumed lead 300m out, no match to the stronger winner, finished well for second.

Clean quick jump, settled in fifth along the fence, shaken up 500m out, ran on evenly and all out to keep third on the line.

Quick jump and ridden hard for early speed but outpaced, always the trailing three, strong drive 300m out after the leaders were long gone, strong finish and just missed third.
