Allowed to stride forward at own pace, settling in one-off position 4L from leader heading into back stretch. Given more rein passing 400m, 3-wide into straight, hit front 200m, gamely held off strong challenge.
2着VICTORY BOYS　　J Moreira　　(H)

Broke well, not pushed, settling in one-off position behind midfield. Shaken up passing 400m, swung widest into straight, finished strongly to just fail.
3着LOTUS STRIKES BACK　　S Clipperton　　(B)

Jumped with field, ridden but no pace, dropping to rear along fence. Improved position around first turn to midfield, got close to heels 400m, finished strongly to grab minor placing.
4着ROYAL PARTNER　　S de Sousa　　(TT)

Steadied on jumping and shifted across behind runners, settling in last pair. Taken to rail back stretch, improved position final turn, switched to centre field on straightening, finished off strongly.

Pressed forward from outside draw, taking first turn 3-wide before settling in one-off position 1L from leader back stretch. Under pressure from 500m, kept on gamely under hard riding in straight.

Steadied soon after start and shifted across behind runners, settling towards rear close to rail. Left rail final turn to make run but limited response to hard riding.

Began well, vigorously ridden to hold forward position but held 4-wide. Gradually lost position around first turn, dropping toward rear but still wide without cover. Found nothing when asked in straight.

Ridden early to hold rail, sharing early pace before settling in box seat entering back stretch. Under pressure from 500m, spent force soon after straightening, faded.
