Crowded out start but recovered quickly and ridden along to grab box seat. Sweated for a run early in straight but got clear passage 250m and gradually overhauled leader to win in final strides.
2着SEA RUBY　　J Moreira　　(SR-/H/TT)

Jumped well to lead initially before being eased behind leading pair and kept well away from fence. Urged forward soon after straightening, looked winner 200m before being run down close to line.
3着SILLY BUDDIES　　N Rawiller　　(P)

Began OK, ridden along early but wide, settling 4L from leader. Wide around turn and into straight, bumped 300m but kept finding to be closest at the finish.
4着HIT THE BID　　A Suborics　　(V)

Jumped with field, ridden along wide to take lead passing 1000m and cutting to rail. Caught shortly after straightening but kept on gamely to the line.
5着HEARTS KEEPER　　K Teetan　　(B)

Bumped start but pressed forward, settling two-back, one-off before turn. Kept on well early and still in contention 200m before tiring final stages.
6着ARCHIPPUS　　M L Yeung　　(B/H)

Began OK but not much speed, settling close to rail behind midfield. Switched out and made progress around turn, still a chance passing 200m before running out of stamina.
7着SUN PINS　　B Prebble　　(CP)

Slow into stride, then taken across behind runners, settling last. Made good progress around turn, kept on fairly in straight before steadied 100m, turning one-paced.

Jumped with field, restrained and shifted across behind runners, settling close to rail behind midfield. Got shuffled back around turn and plodded on in straight.

Ridden along from an ousted draw but didn't muster and kept wide without cover towards the rear for most of the race. Never likely.

Bumped at start, then outpaced, dropped to rear. Shuffled back to last around turn and found little in straight under hard riding.
11着SHANGHAI BOND　　H W Lai

Crowded out at start and pressed forward between horses, settling behind midfield 5L from leader. Came under pressure soon after straightening and faded.
12着GRACE HEART　　H N Wong　　(B)

Hard ridden from outside draw but took time to muster before settling outside leader at the turn. Started to give ground shortly before entering straight and finished tailed off.
