Began well, and into a handy position on rail. No luck getting a run on the turn. Came back through a gap 300m. Had the outside horse laying in on top late, but finishing best. Crossed 2nd, but won it in the Stewards room.
2着TRAVEL RENYI　　O Doleuze　　(B1/TT-)

Unbalanced on jumping, settling mid, 1 off the fence. Kicked from 400m finishing strongly. Lay in under the stick late, interfering with the run of 2nd who was finishing better. Crossed the line in 1st, but relegated to 2nd.
3着TONYBOY　　N Rawiller　　(V/XB/TT-)

Fairly away, and found a position midfield on the fence. Began a run on turn, hampered twice between the 400 and 300m. Ran on very strongly once he got clean air, making up 2 lengths in the last 100m to steal 3rd on line.
4着MULTIMAX　　D Whyte　　(TT)

Began well and pushed forward from the wide alley to sit handily in 3rd behind the leaders. Finished OK in the straight, and momentarily crowded at the 100m. Just lost 3rd place in the barest of margins on line.
5着THOR THE GREATEST　　H N Wong

Quickly away to lead early on the rails, before sitting just behind the new leader mid race. Plugged away 1 paced late, without threatening a place.
6着MODERN TSAR　　D Lane　　(V/TT-)

Began well, but elected to ease back to the rear of the field with cover from the wide draw. Ran on OK, and picked off a few in front, in the straight.
7着EYE ON YOU　　C Williams　　(H/TT)

Crowded and unbalanced on jumping before finding a position just worse than midfield, 1 off the fence with cover. Travelled only fairly in the straight.
8着FIONN'S TREASURE　　C Y Lui

Began well from the outside gate, but had to settle just behind midfield, 3 wide facing the breeze. Came wider on the turn, and was trying hard late, but finished only fairly.
9着BOSSIEE　　J Moreira　　(TT)

Began well to sit handy, 1 off the fence. Asked the question in the straight, but never let down when placed under pressure.
10着WINNIE'S HORSE　　M L Yeung　　(TT)

Began fairly, then elected to drop to the rear of the field, on the fence with cover. Only plugged away late.
11着NOBLE ALPHA　　B Prebble　　(P)

Began OK, but dropped back from the wide draw to sit towards the rear of the field. Came widest on turn, but never responded to pressure in the straight.
12着BRILLANTE　　T Berry

Taken forward from the jump to lead. Peaked at the 200m and faded quickly from there.
13着AFFLUENCE OF RAIN　　A Suborics　　(B/TT)

Very awkward to begin and lost ground, settling at the rear. Under pressure before the home turn, but gave nothing and eased out late.
14着WONDERFUL COUPLES　　C Y Ho

Began awkwardly and settled worse than midfield on the rail. Didn't respond in straight, and eased out. First Hong Kong run.
