1MY WISH  L Ferraris

Quickly crossed to the fence and chased leaders in a race run at good pace, held up for clear running between 300 to 200M before bursting through a narrow gap to win impressively.

2COPARTNER PRANCE  K De Melo  (XB)

Positively ridden from draw 10, led passing 1200M but unable to cross to the fence, kept going well in the straight but just couldn't hold off winner passing 200M. Game effort holding on to 2nd spot.

3HAPPY TOGETHER  A Badel  (TT)

Restrained in mid-division along the 3-path, responded well under top weight on straightening, kept battling final 200M to take 3rd. Honest effort.

4PACKING HERMOD  B Avdulla  (B-/V1)

Chased leaders 2-wide in a race run at good pace, driven out 450M and had every chance. Just missed 3rd spot in a photo finish.

5RUBYLOT  H Bowman  (CP)

Taken back from wide draw, settled in last 6Ls off the pace, had plenty to make up top of the straight, brought wide and attacked the line strongly. Pleasing return.

6PATCH OF THETA  C Y Ho  (XB)

Settled down 2-wide in midfield, was held up over final 300M and never able to be placed under maximum pressure. Inconclusive run.

7LIGHT YEARS CHARM  Z Purton  (XB-)

Jumped awkwardly and lost ground, raced along the fence in second half of the field, had difficulty obtaining clear running mid-straight, was steadied 200M before running on steadily late. Could do better.

8JOHANNES BRAHMS  A Atzeni

From draw 1 stayed close enough behind leaders, held up for clear running 400M to 200M but the finishing response was only mild over the final stages.

9MOMENTS IN TIME  R Kingscote  (TT)

Obtained a 3-wide spot ahead of midfield, raced wide no cover from 800M, 5th at top of the straight, kept battling under pressure but not going the pace to challenge leaders. Faded final stages.

10VICTOR THE WINNER  C L Chau  (B-/TT)

Didn't show sufficient pace to obtain an on-pace position with blinkers removed, dropped back to near last, had some work to do 400M, brought wide for his challenge but was merely keeping on without posing serious threat.

11SUNLIGHT POWER  J Orman  (CP/H)

Dropped back to a rearward position after the start, lay in in the home straight and proved difficult to ride out, kept on same pace to the finish.

12MARKWIN  H Bentley  (TT)

Began only fairly, caught racing very wide and without cover for the majority of the race, behind midfield making the home turn, couldn't quicken enough final 400M and was always held by leaders.

13PRAY FOR MIR  M Chadwick  (CP)

Driven forward vying for the lead early stages, was just behind the leader making the turn for home, held on to the 2nd spot until passing 200M then weakened away.

14DIVANO  Y L Chung  (TT)

From wide draw taken across behind runners, settled near last 6Ls off leader, closed off fairly top of straight, no extra final 200M.
