Settled in worse than midfield, inconvenienced for a run 350M out, responded well to take charge 200M out, won readily.

2MAX QUE  H Bowman  (TT)

With leaders early, shifted some 3L back to 5th inside the 1000M and slightly further back to 6th rounding home bend, baulked for a run in straight until the 250M, fought on dourly between runners without troubling the winner.

3ONLY U  M F Poon  (CP/TT)

Gradually settled mainly 3-wide in last few, came to challenge under pressure entering straight, finished off the race well inside final 200M near the centre of the track.

4OLDTOWN  J Orman  (TT1)

Began well from a poor draw and soon taken back to midfield 3-wide, commenced move rounding home bend gaining 5th within 3L of pace into straight and sharing the lead briefly 250M out, weakened inside final 150M.

5SPIRIT OF PEACE  J McDonald  (H)

Settled well behind from a poor draw, trailed the field near rail rounding home bend, saved ground on the inside turning for home, baulked for a run in straight until the 200M, produced good late impression closing stages.

Gradually taken back to wide in midfield after beginning from the widest draw, shifted steadily backward to 10th rounding home bend, ran on steadily under pressure in straight without threatening.

Jumped moderately settling behind midfield, inconvenienced and lost position 850M out, towards rear into straight, obtained a clear run 300M out and fought on steadily without quickening.

8FORERUNNER  A Hamelin  (TT)

Well there gradually settled 2L back in 4th on rail, obtained a run off the rail 300M out but could find nothing under pressure.

9SUNNY DARLING  M Chadwick  (B/TT)

Jumped well from a poor draw before travelling very wide 2L back in 5th, improved around home bend to join race leader before hitting the front briefly 400M out, soon dropped out of contention in straight.

Travelled keenly at times in forward of midfield on rail, came under pressure to challenge upon straightening, tightened 200M out and weakened under pressure.

Soon taken well behind onto the rail from a poor draw, ridden 800M out gaining slightly until baulked, renewed effort on the inside on straightening, improving when forced to steady over 200M out, made no further impression.

Ridden forward from a poor draw to be up with the pace very wide in back straight, gradually shifted across for 2-wide position one back in 3rd coming onto home bend, kept on early in straight before weakening inside final 300M.

Travelled keenly in forward of midfield, inconvenience and lost position 900M out, dropped further behind into straight and never recovered.

Began awkwardly from a poor draw and soon took up running near the centre of the back straight, crossed for rails run in front coming onto home bend, soon headed on straightening and folded up quickly.
