Crowded at start, settled one back in 3rd on rail, ran on under pressure to hit the front 150M out, just held on to the line.

Amongst leaders early stages, gradually taken one-out-one-back onto first bend, commenced move over 400M out and ran on under pressure to hold every chance the length of the straight.

Crowded at start losing ground settling well behind on rail, saved ground turning in for home, ran on well between runners to miss narrowly.
4M UNICORN  W Buick  (H/P/TT)

Wide in midfield early stages, slightly worse when 8th rounding first bend and in back straight, came under pressure home bend swinging wide into straight, ran on well to be nearest at finish.

5SAMARKAND  R King  (CP/TT)

Pressed forward from the widest draw to join the leaders, persevered around the bend to reach 2nd just half a length back, hit the front into home straight only to be headed 150M out, swamped for a placing close to home.

6SUPER UNICORN  M Barzalona  (TT)

Ducked off runner towards the rail early gradually settling in 5th on rail some 3L off the pace, became 6th in similar position rounding home bend 400M out, kept on steadily without quickening.

7COMET SPLENDIDO  J McDonald  (TT)

Crowded at start losing ground before settling in last few, made no serious impression in home straight.

Ridden prominently early settling in midfield in 6th in back straight, made headway 3-wide rounding home bend, kept on until finding no extra 100M out. (Lame)

Settled 3-wide in last few after beginning from a wide draw, remained in similar position before swinging wider into home straight, ran on past well-beaten horses.

Settled mainly in rear of midfield on rail, saved ground turning in for home, ran home one-paced.

Dipped and tightened at the start gradually settling in last few, never seen with a chance. (Found to have an epiglottic entrapment)

Improved gradually from a poor draw to take up running 1200M out and rails run shortly after, held slender advantage until headed into home straight, weakened noticeably.
