Crowded at start, ridden to share early pace, gradually taken one out one back to 3rd 1000M out, cantered to lead over 200M out, won comfortably.

Taken back to last from the widest gate and waited with, snuck up on rail early in straight, angled out to continue run inside the 300M, sustained significant progress to reach 2nd 50M out.

3CALIFORNIA SPANGLE  B Avdulla  (TT)

Ridden positively to eventually take up narrow running on the rail 950M out, led until finding no extra 200M out.

4BEAUTY WAVES  M Chadwick  (E/TT)

Jumped well from a poor draw, taken back for cover in 5th over 1000M out some 3L off the pace, in similar position home bend, kept on steadily under pressure without threatening.
