Began only fairly from a low draw, soon took up running narrowly obtaining stands rails run over 600M out, just held off runner-up's strong late challenge.

Settled just off the pace on stands rails after beginning from a high draw near stands side, fought on well inside final 300M to just fail to get up on line.

3FAST NETWORK  Z Purton  (TT)

Tightened at start settling in midfield near stands rails, tight between runners over 150M out, quickened well to snatch 3rd final strides.
4CHEVAL VALIANT  P N Wong  (B/TT)

Jumped awkwardly and had to be straightened, came to join the leaders over 700M out, looked tiring at about 200M out but kept on well to the line.

Broke well gradually settled just off the pace near stands rails, came under pressure coming onto course proper, fought on to take 5th, finished just behind 3rd and 4th .
