Comments

1HAROLD WIN  A Atzeni  (B/XB)

Chased the pace, quickened up nicely 350M vying for the lead, gained upper hand late stages and just held on from the fast finishing 2nd on the far side. (Jockey fined for using the whip forward of the saddle in the home straight.)

2BLAZING WIND  C Y Ho  (TT)

Dropped back to race at the rear, 6Ls to make up 400M, closed off strongly down outside of track, line came too soon just beaten a short head.

3AWESOME TREASURE  M L Yeung  (TT)

Sent forward, led to nearing 700M, fought alongside eventual winner on straightening, vied for lead from 250M to 50M, grudgingly gave way late.

4WIN SPEED  K C Leung  (B)

Settled behind midfield, had a few lengths to make up on leaders 400M, not clear 200M then hit the line well late stages.

5KING OBERON  L Hewitson

Away well, close enough to the pace early stages, drifted back to midfield home turn before keeping on steadily final 400M. Comfortably held by leaders.

6LUCKY TOUCH  B Avdulla  (B/TT)

Settled towards the rear, swung wide into straight before running on fairly to the line. (No Vet findings.)

7EVERYONE'S CLASSIC  Z Purton

Drifted back to a rearward position early stages, had some work to do 400M, stayed on without posing serious threat to leaders. (Jockey : would appreciate being stepped up in distance. / Bled.)

8GLORIOUS EXPERT  P N Wong

Jumped awkwardly, raced keenly early stages before striding forward to lead nearing 700M, caught inside 300M, weakened towards the line.

9UNIVERSAL BLAZE  A Badel  (P-/H1)

Up with early pace before easing back to a midfield spot halfway, couldn't go on passing 400M.

10STRATHBARRY  B Thompson

In mid-division early stages, already under pressure before turning home, couldn't keep up with rivals top of straight. (Bled 2nd time. Compulsory retirement.)
