Settled well behind on rail after crowded at start from a poor draw, saved ground on rail turning in for home, ran on gamely under pressure to snatch victory final strides.

Settled in midfield mainly in 7th, switched out to challenge approaching home turn, inconvenienced twice between 400 and 300 metres out, finished off the race well inside final 200 metres.

Crowded shortly after start settling 3-wide with cover just worse than midfield in 9th, in similar position turning into straight, ran on well inside final 250 metres to be nearest at finish.

Soon took up running setting a quick early pace, kicked over 2L clear upon straightening but soon unable to sustain effort and overhauled 100 metres out.

Soon dropped to last few after beginning from the one draw, commenced move entering home straight but did not find much room until the 250 metres, produced good late impression until out of room late.

Gradually settled in last few, saved ground on the inside turning in for home, quickened well inside final 300 metres, lost 5th late.

Broke well in front briefly before settling 2L back in 4th racing wide without cover from the 900 metres, came under pressure upon straightening, heavily bumped 350 metres out, ran home one-paced.

Soon picked up to first few settling just off the pace in 3rd on rail, travelled keenly behind race leader rounding home bend, baulked for a run early in straight until the 350 metres, found nothing under pressure.
