Jumped well from a poor draw settling over 2L back in 3rd, became 4th in a similar position 600 metres out, commenced move inside the 300 metres and hit the front under pressure over 200 metres out, hung in away from whip 100 metres out.

2DUKE WAI  K Teetan  (V)

Improved steadily on rail after moderate start, just over 3L back in 4th coming onto home bend, hit the front briefly just inside the 300 metres, bumped by the winner 100 metres out, fought on gamely to the line.

3GORGEOUS WIN  A Badel  (TT)

Ridden early stages before settling some 4L back in 5th, came under pressure to challenge upon straightening holding every chance 150 metres out, unable to sustain effort shortly afterwards.

4GUMMY GUMMY  A Hamelin  (B)

Jumped awkwardly losing ground, soon ridden forward along the rail to over 5L back in 7th, gained one closer rounding home bend, angled out for a run on straightening, ran on under pressure and did best work late.

5REWARD SMILE  B Thompson  (P-/TT)

Settled behind midfield for cover after beginning from a poor draw, remained one from last into straight, ran on under pressure near the centre of the track inside final 300 metres.

Ridden positively before settling just off the pace in 2nd on rail, gained slightly closer hugging inside rail on final turn, faded under pressure inside final 200 metres.

Jumped fairly from a wide draw, settled 2-wide behind midfield approaching home bend, came under pressure entering straight but find no extra.
