Went forward from wide draw, reached the lead 1200M, kept going well on straightening, dug deep late stages only to go down narrowly.
3IVY LEAGUE  K De Melo  (SR/XB/TT)

Reserved towards the rear 6Ls off leader, held up for clear running on the home turn, didn't have a neat run until 200M, worked home well down inside, just missed 2nd.
4SWEET BRIAR  Z Purton  (B-/V1/TT)

Pressed on to be chasing leader, poised to strike turning home but never found that extra gear. No threat to first three final 100M.

Dropped back from wide draw, given a waiting ride 7-8Ls off the pace, had some work to do 400M, closed off nicely but not getting to first three.
